Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

In one of the last episodes of southpark ,kyle gets sucked into facebook because it's so addictive that once you make a profile there you add more and more friends,start with this farming crab and all....llamas on dA are AS addictive as that BUT all it is is; you have a little llama on ur page and when ppl give u llama badges your llama will change in appearance and become a superlama and so on.And can you give llamas back to people.

Tha llama issue starts when DA change the deviant dollar$ to a Points system
You got pints, DA gives you a numbers of goodies to exchange for it.

1 poit = a certain amount od u$s (of course if you want to purchase something really nice you can imagine how many pints you will have to collect isnt it

So an example...now the subs for premium membership can be exchanged by points, of course you can still purchase whit real money too.

Now...how can i start to begin run system points into the DA members head, make them more desireables? Start a game of course.
1º all members on April Fools Days will be able to gift 1 Llama per member whit out paying anything, just for a "good cause" for a show of kindness or whatever you call it.
2º now the members starting to give llamas to all members he can, because in return they will give you another Llama. Simple.
3º Now what can i do if i allready give enough Llamas to all my known people in DA and i want more Llamas? Star trading them for ...hmmm commissions maybe...features. and so on
4º So now i have the system of points running and i make a Llama fever completly insane beetween members. now its time to put more features in the goodies to make users want them too. But hey....this cost you points, no more free goodies.
5º So thats it, goodies for points, points for money, more money to DA.

Oh i almost forgot, and to make Llamas more wanted, what can i do? I put some fancy costumes every amount of Llamas and BAM! You make people want to have more Llamas so they can change their Llama status. Amazing!

I gifted llamas evertime i can, but the one its free, i just gift it away just for a fun. I dont buy things in DA, dont have a premium sub, and i dont do jobs for trading goodies.

This is how i see this new system on DA, hope i put out your doubt. And honeslty to me its...just..fine this new deal, im not a consumer of points, so if it helps to DA keep running and people are happy buying those stuff...fine them
